超爱达尔文，喜欢看他的物种起源，喜欢神奇的自然万物！做为一名博物学家，他的工作真是堪称伟大！历经五年的航行，让他收集到了大量的动植物标本，从而写出了他之后的几大著作，当然最有名的还是物种起源！但也因为这次唯一的长途旅行，让他落下了一身的病，几乎没再出过远门。
这套书是英文版，对儿子来说有些难，他还是更喜欢看中文版的。

达尔文就是一个想孩子一样的科学家，无时无刻都在想着研究。这本书还是有一定的难度的，因为达尔文的研究和过程都没有爱因斯坦，爱迪生那么有趣，所以显得有点索然无味，生词和人名都比较多，不太容易理解。但通过小故事和拓展的解说下，也能很快的知道关系。

和爱因斯坦相比，达尔文的科学研究看起来有点平凡和枯燥，他没有那么多炫目的想象，他有的是对一草一木细致的观察、比较和思考，所以不同的科学家虽然拥有不同的才能，最后都能为人类做出巨大贡献，专注和挖掘自己的潜力最重要！这本书中还提到了达尔文特别感人的一个品质：诚实，当年当另一位科学家和他有类似的关于进化论的研究成果时，他坦诚地把自己和那位科学家的研究都提交给科学院，由他们最终确定谁是最早的研究成果发现者，这样的优秀品质值得孩子从小培养！
